If you are just as excited as we are that autumn has finally arrived, then you will probably need to cool down a bit. Really, we’re pretty excited about the case. Why do you ask? Well, although winter can be a total weak point in the cold, snow and ice, autumn is our last chance for freedom. Our last chance to really enjoy nature without burning the cold in your face, burning your lungs or forcing you to pack an extra pair of socks.
Caramel Apple Martini
First off, is a real fall extravaganza. A martini made with Pinnacle Caramel Apple Vodka is sure to satisfy your case of cravings. Each bottle of Pinnacle Vodka starts with the finest wheat grain from France. It is distilled five times to ensure an incredibly clean, smooth taste. According to Pinnacle, it’s “everything you would expect from premium vodka, but with nothing of the setting and a wonderfully unexpected price.”
Pinnacle makes at least 30 different flavors of its premium vodka that you can enjoy year-round, but its caramel apple variety is fast becoming a staple food. Although it’s great as a shot at the rocks, we found this really amazing caramel apple martini recipe:
1 part pinnacle caramel apple vodka
1 part lemon lime soda
1 part apple juice
Dark brown sugar for rimming of glass
How to make:
Rim a martini glass with dark brown sugar. Drizzle caramel sauce in a martini glass.
Fill the shaker with ice, vodka, lemonade and apple juice. Shake well and strain into martini glass. Garnish with apple slice.
Caramel Comfort Float
Can you remember the last time you enjoyed a good, old-fashioned root beer float? Although it’s been a while, I enjoyed ice cream floats regularly as a kid. Cold, delicious, and creamy, traditional root beer floats are the perfect treat at the end of a warm summer night.
But why limit ourselves? We could create an ice cream float for every season, starting with a Caramel Southern Comfort Float for Fall.
Southern Comfort has been bringing us their uniquely “smooth-drinking whiskey” for over 140 years, and the addition of caramel has only made the drink even smoother going down. The creamy sweetness of caramel, with the smooth blend of Southern Comfort, creates a Fall drink good enough to be enjoyed on its own or on the rocks. But, everything is better a la mode, so we’ve found this awesome recipe for an adult ice cream float you don’t want to miss out on this Fall.
1/2 Cup Caramel Southern Comfort
1/2 Cup Root Beer or Cola
Vanilla Ice Cream
How to make:
Stir Caramel Comfort and Root Beer in a mug or glass. Gently garnish with a generous portion of vanilla ice cream in the center of the drink.
Caramel Spiced Tea
Are you looking for the perfect pre-bed beverage to enjoy while biting your favorite shows? We covered you with a caramel spiced tea. Traditional Chai flavors, which are truly decadent with the addition of half-a-half, plain syrup and Smirnoff Kissed Caramel Vodka, will surely soothe your nerves as you stream through this final episode.
Smirnoff has been making vodka since the 1800s, so it’s probably pretty safe to assume they know their stuff. Their Kissed Caramel version is a perfect blend of rich and creamy caramel and combines the classically delicious vodka you expect from Smirnoff.
If you are looking for an autumn drink that will help you, try Smirnoff’s Recipe for Caramel Spiced Tea.
1.5 ounces Smirnoff kissed caramel
2 ounces strong chai tea (unsweetened is best)
1 oz Half & Half
1/2 ounce simple syrup
How to make:
Shake all ingredients with ice. Pour double-cupped glass drizzled in caramel. Add caramel drizzle to the top and cinnamon stick for added flavor and stir.
Spiked Salted Caramel Coffee
If you are a fan of brunch then you are in luck. You may have drunk brunch drinks like a bloody mary or a mimosa, but we have a head start on the best alcoholic drink for an autumn brunch. Whether you’re on your way to celebrating your favorite team, or whether you just need an extra boost to do your long list of chores, you can easily enjoy this easy-to-handle drink from your own robe or with friends.
Okay, to be honest, the combination of Baileys and coffee is nothing new, but it’s so good. Bailey’s is a perfect blend of fresh, premium Irish milk cream, various spirits, Irish whiskey and a touch of chocolate. It sounds pretty good, but in a perfectly balanced touch of soft, creamy caramel and our mouths are really pouring. Combine Bailey’s Irish Cream Salted Caramel with your freshly brewed favorite coffee for a real autumn morning. Or make an iced coffee better than Starbucks … or at least with more alcohol.
6 ounces of freshly brewed coffee
2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream Salted Caramel
Optional: whipped cream, caramel sauce, coarse sea salt
How to make:
Brew up a batch of your favorite coffee (or throw out your favorite K-cup). Pour Bailey’s Irish Cream Salted Caramel and stir. Add a dollop of whipped cream, drizzled with caramel and topped with a pinch of natural sea salt for even more decadent drinks
Candied Apple Cider
Did you know that you can turn just about any beverage into a classic caramel dessert? With Torani Caramel Syrup? This is true! Classically used in coffee and hot cocoa, Toranis syrups are a staple in the blender world. Although it used to be hard to find, it was mainly sold in mass / industrial stores, but now you can have it delivered to your door. A whole world full of caramel creations is waiting!
Although you could probably add it to something (caramel milk, anyone?), We have some suggestions for you, including a recipe from Torani for a candied cider.
1 tbsp Torani vanilla syrup
1 tbsp Torani caramel syrup
1/2 cup (4oz) cider or apple juice
1/2 cup (4oz) cranberry juice
2-4 ounces of vodka (depending on your preferred beverage strength)
